Finely grained tannins join a textural wave of dark chocolate, crushed blueberry, and spiced sandalwood. Nutmeg and white pepper add dimension to a streamlined finish.
James Suckling Review
A fragrant nose of mulberries, plums, cedar, cloves and vanilla. Medium-to full-bodied with fine, firm tannins and vivid acidity. Structured, with fruity character and a creamy texture. Chewy finish. Try from 2023.
Wine Tasting Notes
The vintage continues our signature profile of a slightly softer, and approachable Black Stallion Estate Napa Cabernet. This rich and refined wine doesn't require years of further aging to achieve ideal balance and enjoy upon release. The full-bodied structure is a hallmark. The wine opens with stunning aromas of blackberry, black cherry and toasty scents; the palate is concentrated with bold, velvety flavors of cassis, plum and blackberry. Intense, concentrated mature fruit, bold, but integrated tannins and beautifully balanced acidity extend to an elegant finish.
