Wine Spectator Review
Though opulent and expressive, this white is also complex and displays superb balance. Boasts butterscotch, vanilla and buttered pastry elements that frame a core of peach and lemon tart, supported by well-integrated acidity. Builds almost seamlessly to the long, spice- and pastry-filled finish. Drink now through 2030.
Wine Tasting Notes
Yellow golden color, the Chateau Fuisse Pouilly Fuisse Les Brules Chardonnay shows aromas of ripe fruit, jam, melted sugar, hints of smoke and some delicate vanilla on the nose. On the palate, the attack is fresh and aromatic, round and dense, with a good fatness and a nice volume. Acacia honey, toasted bread some oak and hazelnut delicately smoked towards the finish. A full-bodied wine, rich and powerful.
