The 2021 Zinfandel Pound for Pound has a deep ruby color and aromas of wild berry fruit and accents of rooibos tea, wildflowers, apricot, tar and underbrush. Medium-bodied, it floods the mouth with spicy fruit and floral streaks. It is grainy and very refreshing, with a long, detailed finish. Lovely! All that juicy fruit is ideal for barbecue and spicy dishes. Drink Date: 2023-2028.
Hard Working Wines is the second label of McPrice Myers, and is aimed at delivering serious value without sacrificing quality. The packaging is unassuming, and the names are pretty playful, but what's in the bottle really stands out. I'd be happy to enjoy one of these at my dinner table any night of the week.
