The 2019 Langhe Chardonnay G.D. is a medium-rich white wine that offers surprising latitude and versatility. I say that because you can envisage pairing a wine like this with a wide assortment of foods, ranging from delicate sashimi to a more robust roasted chicken dish. Nectarine, stone fruit and cantaloupe melon are front and center, but there are pretty notes of spice and toasted almond as well. Fresh acidity caps it all off. Drink 2022-2028.
