The Chardonnay is now sourced predominantly from the Martaella and Tilton Hill Estate Vineyards, where Old Wente and Mt. Eden heirloom clones are planted. Hand-harvested at night, the grapes are gently whole-cluster pressed. After settling overnight, the juice is fermented in barrel with indigenous yeast. This is exactly the kind of Chardonnay you hope for from the Russian River Valley - bursting with rich Meyer lemon fruit, underpinned by a chalky mineral undertow and framed by toasty oak. Salted lemon peel and bright lemony acidity add grip and tension, while layers of baking spice, ginger, and quince lead into a long, juicy finish. Drinking Window: 2025-2035.

This Benovia Russian River Chardonnay is bursting with aromas of sun-ripened Golden Delicious Apple, poached pear and marzipan. The nose is filled with dried apricot and white peach, knitted together by balanced acidity and a long-complex finish. Barrel fermentation and oak aging for 13 months have added hints of toasted almond and spice cake finishing with a subtle minerality on the finish.
