Jeb Dunnuck Review
Rated 92
The 2016 Smoke & Mirrors is a value-priced beauty that's packed with character. Black raspberries, spices, cedary herbs, and brambly notes all flow to a beautifully textured, voluptuous, decadent wine that has loads of fruit, no hard edges, and is just a joy to drink.

Wine Tasting Notes
Welcome to Jeff Cohn Cellars. Single vineyard Zinfandel and Rhone-centric wines that walk a tightrope, balancing the pure expression of California fruit with the Rhone-influenced winemaking of vintner Jeff Cohn.

Aged for 12 months in all neutral French oak 350 to 600 liter barrels, a 600 gallon Foudre and a 600 gallon concrete tank. Sourced from Paso Robles, Sonoma Valley and Russian River vineyards.

Along with blackberry, this wine is loaded with black cherry, Australian black licorice and a smoked beef essence. Black berry, wild raspberry, anise and creme Brulée float across the palate.

35% Syrah, 29% Zinfandel, 15% Petite Sirah, 14% Grenache, 4% Mourvedre, 3% Carignane
